Cops for Kids with Cancer is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides funds directly to those involved in the care of children with cancer, with each family typically receiving $5,500.
There are many organizations raising money for important research, but the goal of Cops for Kids with Cancer is to help the children and their caregivers through this most difficult crisis.
Cops for Kids with Cancer donations have saved a family from eviction, helped pay down overwhelming bills, and funded repairs on a family’s only vehicle to get back and forth to the hospital. The situations we assist with are often heartbreaking, but all too real.
While other organizations support cancer research, we raise funds and support families so that we can help them face the day-to-day challenges that a cancer diagnosis brings.
Today, we are supporting 8 to 10 families across New England each month. To date, we have distributed over $6.3 million to over 1,200 families, and we continue to grow.

Why We Do What We Do…
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, in an instant, “normal” is replaced by a grueling new reality where medical needs come first, and everything else falls behind.
We step into that gap because we believe no parent should have to choose between being at their child’s bedside and keeping the lights on. We provide the immediate support that keeps families whole, so they can focus on the only thing that matters: their child’s recovery.
